In Yoruba, a language spoken in Nigeria, the word Ajilla means “walk in your wealth.” The Ajilla Foundation believes walking in wealth happens when a person pursues and invests in things that bring you joy, purpose and fulfillment. Through our Young Leaders Development Fellowship, the Ajilla Foundation is committed to exposing young women to a variety of transformational experiences that will accelerate their success while helping them identify their own passion and purpose.
Program Experience
The Ajilla Young Leaders Development Fellowship aims to be a catalyst that provides solutions to close the gaps that exist between men and women in the American workforce. We aim to close the opportunity gap, reduce the confidence gap, fight the pay gap, and work so that women overcome the gender gap in the American workforce.
